Rene Lalique Glass 'Tete De Paon' Peacock Car Mascot

Introduced in 1928. 8.2ins (20.9cm) high, 4.9ins (12.5) wide, 3.9ins (10cm) deep. Rene Lalique clear & frosted glass 'Tete De Paon' car mascot. This model features the head of a peacock.

The bird is mounted onto a rectangular, black glass base. Moulded maker's mark to the edge of the base, 'R LALIQUE.

Stenciled makers mark for the front of the black base, 'R LALIQUE FRANCE'.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. Tiny, surface blemish to the shoulder of the bird.

A small, light blemish to the opposite shoulder.

Miniscule nibble to the upper tip of the beak.
