Victorian, circa 1882. 6.7ins high, 9.1ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica teapot which features an oriental man, dressed in a floral robe, holding a Noh mask. His hair forms the handle.
Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1838'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1882.
