Minton Majolica Volute Shell Spoon Warmer

Victorian, circa 1874. 4.8ins high, 5.9ins wide, 3.9ins depth. Minton Majolica spoon warmer which features a shell resting on coral.

Colouration: yellow, brown, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1837'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1874.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. One foot reglued and join retouched.

Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to rim.
