George Jones Majolica Bulrush and Lily Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1872. 8.7ins high, 7.1ins wide, 5.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features green leaves, bulrushes/cattails and water lilies.

Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, pink, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '1800 T'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: patches of slightly thin glaze application to the rim;

small firing pit to one leaf on side.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to spout.
