George Jones Majolica Bulrush and Lily Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1872. 7.7ins high, 5.9ins wide, 4.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features green leaves, bulrushes/cattails and water lilies.

Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '1800'.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to the ochre rim.

Inconspicuous flaking to flowers.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to the foot rim.
