
Victorian, circa 1871. Tallest is 6.7ins high, 6ins wide, 4.5ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica flower holders which feature a fantail pigeon, standing on a leafy base. Flower inserts around the tail.
Colouration: white, green, cobalt blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1501'. English diamond registration mark for the date 02/04/1869.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1871.
CONDITION: Vase 1: Very Good. No restoration.
Vase 2: Very Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to tail.
