Victorian, circa 1873. 13ins high, 11.5ins wide, 11.5ins depth. George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features a branch handle with apple blossoms. Basketweave to the sides.

Cobalt blue ground version.

Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, green, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

Bears a pattern number, '3240'. English diamond registration mark for the date 29/04/1873.

CONDITION: Cover: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to the lower rim.

Base: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chips to flange.

Filled chip to underside of rim.
