English Majolica Dwarf on Barrel Jar And Cover

Victorian, circa 1880. 6.5ins high, 5.1ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica pot and cover which features a gnome (or dwarf) laying down next to an ale barrel, with a drinking jug in his right hand. The base in the form of a barrel.

Colouration: brown, yellow, cobalt blue, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. Kiln effect: firing hole to inner rim of jar.

RESTORATION. A few filled chips.
