Large Minton Majolica Lily Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.8ins high, 7.1ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features flowering lilies and lily pads.

Colouration: green, white, dark pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1228 12'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. A couple of patches of very slight wear to side.
