Minton Majolica Game Pie Dish with Gun Dog

Victorian, circa 1867. 7.9ins high, 14.6ins wide, 7.8ins depth. Minton Majolica game pie dish with liner which features a hunting dog asleep next to a gun, a powder flask and a game bag.

Colouration: cream, green, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '964'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1867.

Filled chip to rim.

Cover: Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline.

Liner: Stabilised and retouched hairline to exterior, not present on interior.
