Victorian, circa 1877. 7.9ins high, 14.2ins wide, 8.7ins depth. Minton Majolica game pie dish with liner which features a hare, mallard and blackbird on a bed of fern and oak leaves.
Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '668'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1877.
CONDITION: Very Good. Small bruise to the inner rim of the dish.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim of liner.
Filled chip to one foot of the base.
