Small Minton Majolica Lily Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 6.3ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features flowering lilies and lily pads.

Colouration: green, dark pink, white, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1228'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1870.

CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the foot.
