
Victorian, circa 1880. 4.8ins high, 3.5ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica posy holder which features three birds, supporting baskets on their backs.
Colouration: turquoise, white, green, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Unidentified English pottery. Bears a pattern number, 'X'.
CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the base;
uneven glaze application in places.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to the rim.
One bird beak remodelled. Retouched flakes to beaks.
