
Victorian, circa 1865. 13.8ins high, 13.8ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Minton tin-glazed majolica wall plate which features a hand-painted scene of a hunting party in a country landscape
The piece was painted by Edouard Rischgitz - a Swiss painter.
Colouration: brown, blue, green, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears makers marks, ‘MINTON’ and ‘3.0’ in manganese script over opaque white tin-glaze.
The piece is also signed by the artist Edouard Rischgitz.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Some patches of wear to the brown rim.
