Victorian, circa 1863. 4.7ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Minton Majolica dish which features a boat with a boy sitting on the back, steering the rudder.
A woman's bust figurehead at the front of the boat.
Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1863.
CONDITION: Good. RESTORATION. Filled chip to rudder. Boy's head reglued and join retouched.
