The embroidery is worked in silks, on a card ground. Colours gold, cream, green, bronze and black.

Picture depicts a river scene with a man fishing in the foreground, a bridge and houses in the background.

Framed in an old wood frame with glass. Loose mounted. Reverse is backed with wood and black paper.

CONDITION: Generally Good. Some loose threads to the river, with card ground showing through in places.

Loose thread.

A couple of little stains.

Uniform age darkening of the ground.

Frame showing some wear.
