Pair Staffordshire Prattware Stags

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. Tallest is 6.3ins high, 5.9ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery Prattware figures which feature a stag, recumbent on a shaped base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Open bottomed.

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack running along the mold join on back and down rump.

Head reglued and join retouched.

Left facing: Generally good.

RESTORATION. Remodelled right ear.

Head reglued and join retouched.
