Victorian, circa 1870. 7.9ins high, 12.9ins wide, 7.3ins depth. George Jones Majolica game pie dish with liner.

Features a goose, hares, birds and fish amongst leaves with a basket weave dish.

Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '3569'. English diamond registration mark for the date ?? (unreadable).

Condition

CONDITION: Very Good. Dish and cover: In exceptionally good condition, with no restoration and allmost nil wear.

Liner: Fair. No restoration. Crack to the bottom.

Staining and crazing from use (the liner has been used in an oven for baking pies.)
