Victorian, circa 1879. 1.4ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica oyster plate which features five fish around a central well.
White ground version. Colouration: white, grey, yellow, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2754'.
CONDITION: Very Good. No restoration. Very slight wear to the heads of the fish.
Small, very light stains to the white ground in places.
KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the reverse;
shrinkage cracks to the reverse.
