Victorian, circa 1870. 5.9ins high, 6.7ins wide, 4.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica jug/pitcher which features pink and white blossom (hawthorn or mayflower), and green leaves on brown, bark effect ground and a rustic branch molded handle.
Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3374'.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: tiny glaze pops to the interior.
RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched hairlines to rim.
