Victorian, circa 1875. 14.2ins high, 12.6ins wide, 8.7ins depth. Pair of Minton Majolica vases which feature a hen and rooster stood next to a wooden slated trough.
Signed, 'J Henk' to the base.
Colouration: brown, green, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1875.
