pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.3ins high, 5.1ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure with a musical theme which features a man playing a bagpipe, his dog beside him, seated on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.

CONDITION: Good. A couple of small flakes to bocage leaf tips and chipping to flowers. A few minor paint losses.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to top end of pipe and feather to hat.
Dogs front right leg remodelled.
Retouching to some of the paint losses.
