Circa 1891. 14.2ins high, 17.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Alfred Renoleau French Palissy Majolica platter which features a lobster, a frog and shellfish.
Colouration: green, blue, ochre, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Alfred Renoleau pottery.
A couple of small flakes to the rim amd one shell.
RESTORATION. One leg and tip of one leg remodelled.
End of antennae reglued and join retouched.
Minor filled chips to rim.
