Minton Majolica Cherub Flower Holder

Victorian, circa 1876. 6.7ins high, 3.5ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Minton Majolica flower holder which features a cherub carrying wheatsheaf.

Colouration: ochre, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2046'.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1876.

Flake to handle on cane.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to cane.

Retouched flakes to base edge.
