Holdcroft Majolica Game Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 9.8ins high, 7.5ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jug/pitcher which features hanging game to either side, with leaf and flower decoration.

Colouration: cobalt blue, green, lilac, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: over glazed shrinkage line to the base on handle.

RESTORATION. Filled chips to rim.

Retouched flake to fox's ear.
