Minton Majolica Circular Bread Platter

Victorian, circa 1865. 1.2ins high, 14.8ins wide, 14.8ins depth. Minton Majolica platter which features wheat ears and the inscription, 'Waste not, Want not, Spare not' to the rim.

Cream ground version. Colouration: green, brown, ochre, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally Good. No restoration.

Some wear to front.

KILN EFFECTS: a few glaze pops to the centre.
