Large Majolica Seated Bulldog Umbrella Stand

Circa 1900. 20.9ins high, 16.5ins wide, 16.9ins depth. Unidentified European Majolica stick or umbrella stand which features a bulldog.

Colouration: grey, blue, brown, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Generally good.

Small flake to nose.

Scratches from use.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze.

RESTORATION. Right hind foot reglued and join retouched.

Remodelled loop on collar.

Stabilised and retouched 3 cracks to rim.

Filled chip to tail.
