
Victorian, circa 1870. 10.2ins high, 9.6ins wide, 0.6ins depth. Adams and Bromley Majolica oyster plate which features six oyster wells moulded as fish heads, a larger fish to the rim.
Colouration: grey, brown, cobalt blue, are predominant.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Bruise to rim of well.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: over glazed chip to the rim;
small firing pit to rim of well.
