Palissy Majolica Blackberry Jardiniere

Victorian, circa 1890. 12.6ins high, 14.6ins wide, 13.4ins depth. French Palissy Majolica jardinière which features blackberry fruit and leaves on a bark ground.

Colouration: brown, ochre, green, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Some wear to interior.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage cracks to a couple of the leaves and vines;

stilt marks to the interior.

RESTORATION. Retouched chips and flakes to some of the leaves, vine and feet.
