Victorian, circa 1873. 8.7ins high, 8.3ins wide, 4.7ins depth. George Jones Majolica teapot which features apple leaves and blossom.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

English diamond registration mark for the date 23/04/1873.

Condition

CONDITION: Cover: Good. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched hairline to the rim.

Teapot: Good. Some small flakes to rim.

Slight staining from use.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to spout.
