Large Pair Majolica Foxglove Vases

Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 16.5ins high, 9.8ins wide, 9.8ins depth. Pair of Majolica vases which feature foxglove flowers and leaves, seperately modelled, in deep relief.

Colouration: brown, green, cream, are predominant.

CONDITION: Vase 1: Generally good. No restoration.

Chips to rim,

 

 

petals and leaves.

KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing;

kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
