Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1858.
CONDITION: Cover: Generally good.
A couple of small flakes to hare's face and one acorn.
KILN EFFECTS: two touch marks to the rim.
RESTORATION. Retouched flakes to one bird's wing and other bird's beak.
Handle reglued and join retouched.
Dish: Good.
Bruise to inner rim.
A few small flakes to exterior.
