Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 5.9ins high, 5.5ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery groups which feature a spaniel and her pups in a wicker wash basket, seated on an oval base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.
Vent hole to the reverse.

CONDITION: Right facing: Generally good.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base;
shrinkage line to her right leg.
RESTORATION. Remodelled muzzle for mum.
Filled flake to base at reverse.
Left facing: Good. No restoration.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: piece of kiln detritus caught inside causing piece to rattle.
