pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 6.7ins high, 4.9ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage figure with a musical theme which features a boy playing a pipe. His dog by his side, stood on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed.
CONDITION: Generally good. Small chips to boacge.
Chip to base edge, on the reverse.
Small flake to dog's ear;
shrinkage crack under left arm;
touch mark to her hands and knee.
RESTORATION. Two branches of the bocage/leaves (well) remodelled.
The other two, reglued and joins retouched.
