Large Luneville Palissy Majolica Fish Platter

Circa 1880. 16.5ins high, 24.2ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Luneville (attributed) French Palissy Majolica platter which features fish (gurnard's) and eels in a rock pool.

Colouration: grey, blue, puce, are predominant.

CONDITION: Good.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze misses to the ground;

a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
