Minton Majolica Chestnut Server

Victorian, circa 1860. 5.9ins high, 11ins wide, 10.2ins depth. Minton Majolica chestnut server which features chestnuts and chestnut leaves.

Colouration: green, turquoise, brown, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1860.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Tiny chip under handle and tiny chip to leaf on top.
