Minton Majolica Renaissance Revival Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1870. 11ins high, 7.9ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features circular panels to the sides, depicting classical figures with dogs.

(Diana, the huntress on one side.) Grotesque mask to the front.

Colouration: green, blue, ochre, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to rim.

Filled chip to spout.
