Minton Majolica Palissy Ware Plate

Victorian, circa 1858. 9.8ins high, 9.8ins wide, 1ins depth. Minton Majolica plate which features intaglio grape and vine pattern to centre, six mottled cartouches to the outer edge.

Colouration: green, cobalt blue, ochre, are predominant.

Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1858.

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

Very slight wear to front and reverse.
