Pair Majolica Harvester Posy Vases

Victorian, circa 1880. Tallest is 8.5ins high, 4.3ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Pair of Majolica posy holders which feature a boy and a girl carrying bundles of wheat, which form the vases.

Colouration: green, cream, pink, are predominant.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Male: Good. No restoration. Tiny chip to rim of posy holder.

Small flake to boy's right hand, sleeve and foot.

Female: Generally good. Small flakes to rim of posy holder, and one to button on left sleeve.

RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to base.

Girl and stump reglued to base and joins.
