Circa 1900. 19.25ins high. Pair Art Nouveau WMF 4-Branch Candelabra, modelled as a maiden holding aloft a flower.
Tendrils sprout from the flower, terminating in four foliate sconces. The maiden's flowing dress forms the base.
Seven removable sconce cups.
Maker's marks to underside of base including impressed 'WMF', 'B' (Britannia metal, a tin and antimony alloy), 'I/O' (Normal thickness of gilding or silver plating), 'as' (Antique silver finish). Also impressed mark 'I/O' to base of branch section.
CONDITION: Very good. Minor wear and light scratches.
One of the removable candle holder 'cups' missing.
