Circa 1800. 14.5ins 10.25ins wide. Antique beadwork embroidery picture of a Monk (Possibly French).

Framed in a old, gilded, gesso frame with rippled, old glass.

The embroidery is worked in chenille and beads on a silk ground.

Colours greens, browns, black, purple, orange and gold.

Picture depicts a kneeling monk with foliage and trees to the background.

CONDITION: Good.

A couple of small holes to the ground.

A few small stains.

Some rippling to the ground.

Frame showing wear, but structurally sound.
