Circa 1920. 14.5ins diameter. Large Sarreguemines Majolica oyster plate.

Central well on a bed of green and blue seaweed, surrounded by twelve wells molded as shells.

Blue rope decoration in between the shells and around the rim.



Cream reverse.



Good molding and glaze decoration.

Impressed maker's marks including 'SARREGUEMINES' and '2208' inside the foot.

Condition

Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips.

Small flake to rim of central well.



Some wear to high points of the molding.





Kiln effect: slight staining to reverse.
