Brard Majolica wall platter which features fish (a perch and a barbel), an eel and a cockle shell. An attractive floral border. Colouration: blue, black, grey, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Brard pottery.
Maker: Léon Brard
French maker - Part of the School of Tours ceramic boom and considered to be the leading ceramist in Tours from the 1860s to 1880s.
