Pair of Hugo Lonitz Majolica original cache pots with stands which feature partridges in front of an oak tree, with reeds and bulrushes (cattails) either side. One partridge is looking after her young chicks. Removable, original pots. Colouration: green, brown, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Lonitz pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1203' (with chicks) and '1204'.
