Delphin Massier French Majolica figural vase which features a crowing rooster with it's wings outstretched. A hand painted flower on the base. Colouration: teal blue white, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery. Book reference ,'MASSIER. L'introduction De La Ceramique Artistique Sur La Cote d'Azur.' Réunion des Musées Nationaux, page 153, figure 1439/1.
