Welcome to the exhilarating world of Minton Secessionist ware.
Minton Secessionist ware is a type of early 20th Century earthenware, produced from 1902 to 1919, typically tube-lined and decorated with vibrant coloured lead glazes. Hard-wearing, inexpensive, it was used for everyday objects such as vases, jardinières, jugs and bowls, candlesticks and bathroom sets. Stylistically, early pieces in the Art Nouveau tradition were soon superseded by a seemingly endless variety of highly decorative Art Deco designs.
