Staffordshire girl with bird & cat in chair figure
Victorian, circa 1860. 8ins high. Staffordshire figure of a girl sat in a high backed chair, holding a bird out of reach of her cat, which is clinging to her dress and gazing up at the bird. Dull gilt decoration to the chair and dress.

Vent hole to reverse.
No book reference found.
Condition
Generally good. No hairlines.
Small chip to base edge at side.
Tiny paint losses to her hair.
Some rubbing to gilt.
Kiln effects: shrinkage crack to front of chair,
another to girl's left ankle,
front,
and left shoulder (filled);
crazing.
Old restoration to ear and back of cat's head.
