Staffordshire Pearlware Apollo Figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 7.7ins high, 3ins wide, 3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features Apollo playing the lyre, stood on a square base.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Vent holes to the underside.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

A few paint losses to headdress.

KILN EFFECTS: touch marks to his knee and to reverse.

RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to base line,

robe

and lyre.

Filled chip to left foot.
