calipers in hand, seated on a rectangular base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Open bottomed.
This piece represents the Greek classical figure Urania the Muse of Astronomy.
CONDITION: Good.
A few paint losses to base rim and one to reverse.
KILN EFFECTS: a few small touch marks to the front and reverse;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse;
thin glaze application in places.
RESTORATION. Filled chip to end of finger.
