Staffordshire Giraffe with Keeper Spill Vase

Victorian, circa 1860. 10ins high, 5.7ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery spill vase which features a giraffe and its keeper, stood on a shaped base.

Dull gilt embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

CONDITION: Good.

A few paint losses.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: touch marks to the reverse.

RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to ground.

Filled chip to rim of the spill vase.

Overpainting to underside of base.
